I believe there is a fine line between boring and relevant
communication, and something which is so jazzy that it is not taken
seriously.
Businesses operate in an ecosystem and need to keep talking to different counter-parties, both internal and external, like financiers, investors, clients, vendors, even employees.
A pre-prepared presentation can be the base for periodic communication, getting buy-in for growth, a disaster management programme or other interactions.

My experience spans more than two decades and my output goes to a wide swathe of readers in diverse industries including broad and narrow equity reports, project reports, journalistic research, valuation exercises and investor communication. The tone of communication is altered to cater to the target audience.
